Old News:

20/07/08 - Cross-browser supported

I have started to update the CSS and HTML of this site so that it will appear to look the same in all of the popular internet browsers. This is a very tedious task as you can imagine, but hopefully the benefits of having a universal "look" will outweigh the hairloss.

08/04/08 - Galleries added

So I have finally got around to adding some content to this site. Although only a drop-in-the-proposed-lake, it is a start, and has enabled me to actually feature some content that could actually be considered interesting. The two photo galleries that I have added, have been broken down into two simple categories: A selection of photos I took on my trip to Japan last year, and a mixture of totally unrelated photographs taken throughout my career that I have decided to lump under the one simple category of "Miscellaneous".

You can view the photos in the gallery section of this site.

01/04/08 - PHP and Me

Now I know that i'm not the best programmer in the world, in fact I suck when it comes to writing scripts, however I am quite pleased with the additions of a few simple "include" statements. Now I don't have to spend ages editing every single webpage to update the main navigational links and news/quick links, particularly when you are still in the initial phases of developing a site.

This has however, as is the norm with everything I do, a vast increase in the time it takes to load each page. If anyone can offer any tips or advice as to how to speed up the page loading it would be greatly appreciated. You can send me an email here!

04/02/08 - Cloverfield

Over the weekend I went to see the new "Cloverfield" film which opened nationwide on Friday 1st February, and I have to say that I was very much impressed. Expect a full review in the next couple of days.

31/01/08 - Blue Harvest

When it comes to the cartoon wars I believe that nothing can match the devastating cringe-factor of "South Park". However, after seeing the "Family Guy" parody of "Star Wars IV: A New Hope", originally shown as a season Premiere and now available as a stand alone DVD, I have discovered a different side to this cartoon comedy. Expect a full review in the next couple of days.
